TCC hosts open house for future students

Are you interested in getting a college degree or switching careers? Tidewater Community college may be the right fit for you.

Find out at TCC’s Nov. 15 open house.

Hosted from 5-8 p.m. on all four TCC campuses, prospective students can explore college transfer degrees, technical certificates and industry credentials, as well as learn about financial aid, apply for admission, register for spring classes and take a campus tour.

The college has a variety of paths for high school graduates, active-duty military and adults looking to make a career switch, including programs in accounting, maritime technologies, graphic design and nursing.

Adrienne Mayfield is an award-winning, multi-media journalist hailing from Clermont, Fla. She moved to Lynchburg, Va. on a whim when she was 19, and worked her way to Hampton Roads in 2013. Adrienne is passionate about telling people stories via covering public safety and the judicial system. She isn’t afraid to take a heads-on approach to covering crime, including knocking on doors to get the details police aren’t sharing.
