I’m Jamarcus! Boy do I have a crazy story for you! I arrived at the Norfolk Animal Care Center in March after I was found as a stray. Despite being neutered and having nail caps on, I didn’t have an owner in sight. It was clear from the beginning of my stay that something was not quite right with me, so I spent some time at an emergency vet where it was discovered that I had a dangerous urinary blockage. Ouch! After several days of critical care and being placed on a specific diet to prevent future urinary issues, I’m back to feeling like myself again. So what am I like? The most affectionate cat in the room! I am a professional head-booper and enjoy spending time with my favorite humans. I use a scratching post, and I’ve been known to curl up in your lap while “making biscuits.” Ideally, I’d like a home where I can get a lot of attention and continue on my treatment plan. Can you help me start fresh?
