Two new electric car charging stations open to the public in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH — Electric car owners here now have a couple more options when it comes to charging their cars.

Tesla, the electric car company, installed two new charging stations at First Landing State Park on Wednesday, said Blair Hood, an employee at the park.

The stations are the first to be installed in a state park within the commonwealth, and Virginia’s First Lady Pam Northam was in attendance for the ceremony, Hood said.
