Meet Marcia Brodie, director of marketing for Beth Shalom Village, a local rehab and skilled nursing facility and Nina Turner, administrator of Generations Home Healthcare, a home health care provider that is a subsidiary of Beth Shalom Village.
Do you have a nickname? What is it?
M: I get called Marcia, Marcia, Marcia all of the time.
N: Not really – some people call me Nin.
What is one food that you will not eat?
M: I don’t like raw tuna.
N: Brussels Sprouts
What was your favorite movie?
M: The Great Santini
N: Free Willy
If someone was to give you a gift (money’s no object) what would you want?
M: An escape place – a house or condo on a lake.
N: A retreat place on the water that I can go to monthly.
What is your biggest fear?
M: Growing old and not being well.
N: Snakes and spiders – but snakes are worse.
What is the one quality you admire most in others?
Where is the next place you want to visit?
M: Nova Scotia so my daughter can see Narwhals.
N: Seattle Washington
If you had to pick one place in town to take a tourist, where would it be?
M: I like taking people to Ghent. It is quaint and different.
N: My favorite thing to take people to is the art shows on the boardwalk.
Describe your perfect day off.
M: A hike anywhere on a nice day.
N: To go on a bike ride through First Landing Park and eat at a restaurant on the boardwalk.
