Bruce Duncan Ferguson, 86, son of Eldon B. Ferguson and Louese A. White, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017.

Originally from Foxboro, Mass., Bruce was a longtime resident of Virginia Beach.

Bruce worked at Texaco before retiring from WR Grace. He was a member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church of Princess Anne, serving God in a number of capacities. He was also an active member of the General Booth McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A Bingo groups for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Luxford Ferguson; and sister, Eldona Rich.

He is survived by his loving brother, Earle M. Ferguson; two daughters, Stephanie Bell (Lee) and Susan Craft (Mark); two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and loving friends, Glenn and Charleen Vickery.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 24, at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church of Princess Anne, 2228 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children or Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church of Princess Anne.
