NORFOLK – The 34th Annual Norfolk Senior Olympics start next month, and the city is looking for athletes to compete.
Beginning May 8, seniors will participate in basketball, swimming, tennis, track and field, card games, bowling and more on Old Dominion University’s campus.
Registration is free for Norfolk residents, volunteers and all active members of any Norfolk Recreation, Parks & Open Space senior citizen organization. Fees for participants that do not live in Norfolk are $5 per day.
During the games, complimentary lunch will be provided to all participating athletes. Registration information for the games can be found online.
