Man seriously injured in Granby Street shooting is your source for free local news and information in Virginia Beach

NORFOLK — Police are looking for a person accused of seriously injuring a man during a shooting on Granby Street Tuesday night.

Police located a gunshot victim in the 100 block of East Gilpin Avenue around 8:50 p.m. The 28-year-old man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, according to the Norfolk Police Department.

The victim is expected to survive, police said Wednesday morning.

Police believe the shooting happened in the 9300 block of Granby Street.
