Virginia Beach man dies after being hit by vehicle while photographing event is your source for free local news and information in Virginia Beach

EXMORE – A Virginia Beach man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle at a mud bog event on Sunday, state police said.

Around 3:12 p.m. Rick Ulerick, of Virginia Beach, was taking photos of a truck race at Belle Haven Moose Lodge when he was hit by a participating vehicle. The 41-year-old man died from his injuries.

Police said the driver of the truck was not injured and the death has been ruled accidental.
