VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Chartway Federal Credit Union at gunpoint Friday afternoon.

A masked man entered the credit union, located at 2089 General Booth Blvd., around 2:45 p.m, police said. The suspect showed a gun and demanded money from an employee. After receiving the cash, the suspect fled on foot.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 5 feet 9 inches tall, and approximately 200 pounds.
