Karen Sue Wilson, 70, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, at her home. Born in Prichard, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Salyers. She was the widow of Earl T. Wilson.
She retired as an electronic technician. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Virginia Beach Moose Lodge and a standing member of International Order of Beta Sigma-Phi.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Cynthia Wright (Kermit) and Sandra Hofstadler; grandchildren, Charles Gibson and Nicole Hofstadler; four brothers, John Salyers (Pat), Lewis Salyers (Linda), Russell Salyers and Michael Salyers (Linda); two sisters, Norma Lee Smith (Ken) and Janet Scaggs-Cooper (John); a host of nieces and nephews; and best friends, Debbie Cressel (Elvis) and Elli Fields.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel.
