Two fifteen-year-old boys were shot in Norfolk late Saturday and hospitalized with apparently non-life threatening injuries, police say.

Just before 11:00 p.m., emergency dispatchers were alerted that shots had been fired in the 5700 block of Bartee Street, according to a release from the Norfolk Police Department. At the scene, officers found the teens suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics took them to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.

Police took two men, an adult and a juvenile, into custody at the scene. The shooting is under investigation. The two males are believed to have been involved.

The shooting is believed to be an isolated incident among the parties, the release said.
