NORFOLK — A Newport News man is facing multiple charges after police say he pimped out two women across the Southside.

Justyn Keith Carlos, 28, was arrested on Feb. 23 for allegedly pimping out the women in Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake.

In Norfolk, he faces four counts of maintaining or frequenting a bawdy place; two counts of receiving the earnings of a prostitute; two counts of commercial sex trafficking; two counts of using a vehicle for prostitution; one count of aiding prostitution; and one count of conspiracy to aid prostitution.

He also faces possession of a gun by a violent felon in Virginia Beach.

Carlos was arrested after two women admitted to police that he was their pimp and took all of the money they made from prostituting, according to documents filed in Norfolk Circuit Court.

One of the women was arrested on Feb. 22 after an undercover police officer gave her money for sex. Carlos was arrested the next day in the parking lot of the Virginia Beach Magnuson Hotel, located at 5708 N. Hampton Blvd., after he arranged for an undercover officer to have sex for cash with one of the women, court documents state.

Carlos is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond. He is scheduled to appear in Norfolk General District Court on April 18 for a preliminary hearing on the sex trafficking charges.

He is also scheduled to appear in Virginia Beach General District Court on April 27 for the gun possession charge.
