VIRGINIA BEACH — If you can whack a marshmallow with a golf club, this local fundraiser may be for you.

Astro Entertainment is set to host its third annual Astro Invitational Golf Tourney on April 27 at Cypress Point Country Club. The tournament will benefit Special Olympics Virginia.

Besides the traditional game, golfers will also compete to see who can hit marshmallows the farthest and sit on a dunk tank at the after party.

“Astro prides itself on our commitment to the community,” Steve Weddle, Astro president said in the release. “Special Olympics athletes receive so much joy from competing; you never forget their smiles.”

You can register to compete for $100, and the tournament starts at 8 a.m. To learn how to sign up, click here.
