Police ask for help to identify Norfolk burglary suspect

NORFOLK – The Norfolk Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man they say broke into two businesses.

On Feb. 28, the man entered Beach Bay Food Store, located at 9501 First View St., just before 4 a.m, police said. Responding officers found the front door pried open.

Police said the same man also broke into an ABC Liquor store, located at 159 West Ocean Ave., on March 7 just before 4:30 a.m. Officers at the scene found a front glass window had been shattered.

Police said they believe the man stole merchandise at both stores.
