VIRGINIA BEACH — A man is expected to survive after being shot in Virginia Beach on Wednesday night.

Police responded to a man with a non-fatal gunshot wound around 8 p.m. in the 400 block of Shelter Drive. The man was taken to a local hospital, and another man was taken in for questioning, according to a Virginia Beach Police Department news release.
