VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are looking for a man they say robbed one cellphone store before attempting a robbery at another last Friday.

Around 3:45 p.m. on Feb. 10, a suspect entered the Boost Mobile at 3574 Holland Road and demanded money from the employees, police said. The suspect suggested he had a weapon. He fled on food into the Pecan Gardens neighborhood once he received money.

Later that day around 5:30 p.m., the suspect entered the Metro PCS at 3208 Holland Road. An employee asked the suspect to display his face but the suspect refused and approached the register, police said. When the employee began to approach the suspect, he ran out of the store toward the Pizza Hut on Lynnhaven Parkway.
