Sharon Ann Paul, 64, of Virginia Beach, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017. She was born on Feb. 3, 1952, in Camden, N.J., to Daniel Paul and Grace Connell Paul.
Left to cherish Sharon’s memory are her sister, Linda Paul Kiraly, and Linda’s husband, James, of Virginia Beach; nephews, Daniel and David Love, both of Virginia Beach; and four grand-nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Sharon taught for over 35 years for the Virginia Beach City Public Schools. The bulk of that time was spent with Holland Elementary, where she won multiple awards, to include Teacher of the Year, before retiring from Glenwood Elementary.
Sharon had a love for all animals, but she had a special place in her heart for horses and her beloved Boxers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sharon’s name to an animal rescue of your choosing.
Please come join us for a casual gathering to celebrate the joy of loving Sharon from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Waterman’s Surfside Grille, Atlantic Avenue and 5th Street.
