Jessica M. Stanley, 33, received her angel wings Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. She was born in Homestead, Fla., and moved with her family to Virginia Beach when she was a little girl and spent the rest of her life there.
She was a pharmacy technician at the local Walgreens and lived a care-free life. She made an impact on every life she touched and made the world a brighter place. The connections she made between everyone she loved will last lifetimes.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheyanne Stanley of Williamsburg, Va.; mother and stepfather, Renee and Michael Dickerson of Williamsburg, Va.; father and stepmother, Dannie and Audrey Stanley of Bay Minette, Ala.; brother, Joshua Stanley, and his wife, Brittany, of West Point, Va.; sister, Christina Stanley, and her husband, Eric Conley, Beallsville, Ohio, stepsister, Tracey Taylor, and her husband, Rob, of Wichita Falls, Texas; five nephews and three nieces; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Oscar and Anna Rogers and Richard and Margaret Stanley.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 2002 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends and a visitation will follow the service.
