Norfolk Police: Woman found dead in Bayview home

A 36-year-old woman was found dead inside a Bayview home Saturday morning, police say.

Just after 6 a.m., police responded to a call to check on the welfare of a woman who lived in the 1600 block of East Bayview Boulevard, according to a release from the Norfolk Police Department.

Officers arrived to find the woman dead.

Detectives classified her death as undetermined and are investigating.
