For the third year in a row, Virginia Beach City Public Schools is conducting its We Are VBSchools: Great Dreams Need Great Teachers campaign., which celebrates teachers and staff.

The campaign asks for students, parents and community members to share testimonials about exceptional teachers and staff members.

The campaign is fully supported by the community through partnerships and donations that go towards surprising VBCPS employees with classroom visits, videos that applaud their work, and “tokens of appreciation.”

“It is an honor to help celebrate our committed and caring educators,” VBCPS Superintendent Aaron Spence said. “I look forward to sharing more of their stories with our community.”

This year’s campaign is sponsored by Jersey Mike’s, Jostens, Blackboard Connect, Rudee Tours, Autobell Car Wash, AMC Theatres, and the Virginia Beach Education Foundation.

Students and community members may share a teacher or staff member who has made an impact at their school by emailing GreatTeachers@vbschools.com.
