Judith Gale “Judy” Wagoner

Judith Gale “Judy” Wagoner, 73, passed away peacefully on Nov. 24, 2016.

Born in Greensboro, N.C., she was the daughter of the late James and Grace Gaulden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Wagoner; sisters, Carolyn Mortensen, Doris Lambuth and Helen Smith; and brothers, Clarence Oakley and Jerry and Wayne Gaulden.

Judy was a longtime member of Atlantic Shores Baptist Church. Her faith and trust in the Lord gave her peace, determination and strength. Her soft-spoken nature and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She loved sewing and making wonderful costumes and dresses and for special occasions, knowing they brought so much joy to those who received them. Judy was a wonderful mother to Kimberly, mother-in-law to Jason and Mimi to Savannah. Her family meant the world to her. She was a friend to so many and loved by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory: her daughter, Kimberly Williams, and her husband, Jason; granddaughter, Savannah Williams; sisters, Ruth Thomas, Nancy Kiser, Betty Stone and Vallie Bailey; and a brother, Jay Gaulden.

The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 6-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2. A funeral will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 3, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart and Stroke Association, and condolences offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
