Navy analyst charged with possession of child porn in Virginia Beach

Andrew Keane Davis, a Navy employee, has been charged with five counts of child pornography.

Andrew Keane Davis, 35, will be released on bail following charges of child pornography possession.

An analyst for the U.S. Navy was granted bail Wednesday after being charged with five counts of possession of child pornography.

Andrew Keane Davis, 35, waived his rights to an attorney and was granted a $10,000 secured bond in Virginia Beach General District Court. He forfeited his computer access, and will be confined to a naval base. He is not permitted to leave Virginia.

Davis is accused of possessing child pornography and advertising it online. He was arrested by the Virginia Beach Police Department on Nov. 1.

According to Davis, the Navy may not be aware of his charges.
