The Zombies have returned… and they’re coming to the Sandler Center on March 21 at 7:30 p.m. with their 50th anniversary tour.
Best known throughout the late 1960s for their album Odyssey and Oracle, as well as their unique connection to the Beatles (they used some of their second-hand music gear to craft their own distinct sound), The Zombies have experienced a resurgence in popularity, according to a release.
Over the past three years, the group has toured across Europe, Asia and the Americas, playing at festivals and music venues, from New York City’s Central Park SummerStage to the Glastonbury Fest in the United Kingdom.
The band recently debuted its first-ever music video, and released two additional studio albums — 2013’s Breathe Out, Breathe In and 2015’s Still Got That Hunger.
Though their sound propelled them to the forefront of the British Invasion, their endurance and musical grit as artists have kept them going in the music scene of today.
Tickets go on sale on Oct. 21 at 10 a.m.
