Virginia Beach varsity football games slated for this weekend are rescheduled for Thursday due to Hurricane Matthew, a storm the National Weather Service predicts could bring rain to Virginia on Saturday.

The games will be in the same locations and begin at 7 p.m., except for the First Colonial High School contest against Bayside High School, which will begin at 7:30 p.m., according to a release.

As of now, there are no other changes to Virginia Beach City Public Schools after-school activities, although administration will make them as needed.
