Isabel Christine Gillespie, 17, passed into the Lord’s embrace surrounded by her family on Sept. 4, 2016.
Izzy is survived by her loving parents, Suzanne Lingo and David and Alice Gillespie; her brothers, Logan and Austin; and her loving grandparents, Lynn Reeves-Schaffer, Russell Schaffer, Tommy Gillespie, and Kathy Beasley. Her memory is also cherished by her aunts and uncles, Robert Lingo, Elizabeth (Auntie Bee) and Stephen Ball, Chrissy and Mark Hill, Cheryl and Michael Jacobson, Glenn and Sarah Reeves; her cousin, Kaitlyn Hill; her great-grandparents, Lillian and Robert Reeves, Kay Schaffer, and Bill Web, Jason and London Myers; and many more family members and friends.
Izzy was an honor student at Currituck County High School and the College of the Albemarle, and a proud member of the Zaxby’s family. Although only with us for a short time, her loving spirit, infectious smile, funny holiday clothes and craftsmanship at Yahtzee will be sorely missed.
