Shiny Computers, a refurbished-Apple product business, will celebrate its grand opening in Virginia Beach Saturday.

The store, located at 4356 Holland Rd., officially opened Aug. 1, but will offer free tempered-glass screen protectors for iPhone models 5 and 6 at the grand opening Saturday, according to its Facebook page. Free pizza and snacks will also be offered throughout the day.

“We are all super excited to be opening the Virginia Beach location,” Chris Busillo, owner of Shiny Computers, said in a Facebook message to Southside Daily. “Everyone at Shiny Computers has worked hard to make it happen. We are looking forward to our more convenient location, and ability to service Virginia Beach.”

The business has one other location, in Portsmouth, at 1117 High St.

The company carries a full line of refurbished-Apple products including: MacBooks, MacBook Airs, MacBook Pros, Mac minis, iPads, iPhones and more. Shiny Computers also repairs most Apple products and employs Apple Certified Mac Technicians. The company is currently offering “back-to-school specials,” which provide discounts on select products for local high-school students and faculty.

Virginia Beach store hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
