Norfolk residents will enjoy Latin music today at a festival whose presence spans more than a decade in the city.

The 16th annual Norfolk Latino Musical Festival at Town Point Park is free and will run from 5-10 p.m. One of the performers will be DJ Mangu, a program director at Selecta 1050, a Latin music station based in Norfolk.

Also featured will be Timbason La Original, Richmond-based performers who incorporate Cuban fusion music with Brazilian music, R&B, hip-hop, Latin jazz and Cuban salsa, according to the group’s website.

Latin food and drinks will be available for purchase.
