Adrienne “Ann” Agami, 73, of Virginia Beach, Va., passed away on July 23, 2016.
She was born to the late Lawrence and Adrienne Goley of Illinois. She also was preceded in death by her brothers, Bud and Paul.
Ann graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degrees in biology and anthropology. She earned a master’s degree in biology and a teaching certificate from Old Dominion University.
She worked as a lab assistant at Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research Inc. in Yonkers, N.Y., and was a science teacher at Princess Anne Middle School in Virginia Beach. She was interested in gardening and served as president of Witchduck Garden Club for two terms.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Abdel; her son, Sam (Dee); and several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 1457 Independence Blvd., Virginia Beach, Va.
