Geraldine Josephine Kane, 88, passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2016, in Virginia Beach, Va.
She was born on July 30, 1929 in Norwich, Conn., to the late Daniel and Florence Quintiliani. She made Virginia Beach her home for the past 55 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Francis Kane Sr., and her brother, Tito Quintiliani.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Danny; sons, Tommy (Teresa) and Mike (Nancy); daughter, Patty (Chris); five grandchildren, Joey (Lynn), Amber (Matt), Jeremy (Brittany), Chrissy (Grant) and Mary Grace; eight great-grandchildren, Joshua, Tony, Hunter, Ashtian, Zachary, Benjamin, Wyatt and Anthony; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Geraldine’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to her caregivers, Judy Neeld, Ramona Mandel, Judy Swope and Cynthia Gillium, for all the love and support they provided to Geraldine and her family.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 3600 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, Va. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1396 Lynnhaven Parkway, Virginia Beach, Va.. Burial will follow at Hampton National Cemetery, where Geraldine will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Tom.
