On the morning of Monday, June 20, 2016, the Lord called home one of his most prized possessions. Arlethia Stevenson, who was affectionately called ‘Monet,’ was a faithful member of New Jerusalem COGIC in Virginia Beach, where she served faithfully in ministry for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmore LaSalle Wilson.

Monet is survived by her loving husband of seven years, William J. Stevenson III; six beautiful children, Carlos, Alfonzo (Dyche), Vivica, Vondell, Valene and her bundle of joy, Jordan; mother, Helen Patricia Wilson; sister, Katrina Stewart (Randy); and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 24, at New Jerusalem COGIC, Virginia Beach.
