Edward C. Agolini, 88, loved playing cards with his buddies

Edward C. Agolini, 88, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Born in Virginia, his was the son of the late Anthony and Catherine Agolini.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as an aviation ordinance mechanic at the Naval Air Station, Norfolk, for 35 years. He loved playing cards with his buddies, gardening and spending time with his family and his dogs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jennie K. Agolini; sons, Jerry Agolini (Sharyn) and Jimmy Agolini (Patty); daughter, Susan Agolini; and grandchildren, Tony Agolini, Andy Carwile and Cody Agolini.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. A graveside service will be held at noon Sunday, April 24, in Rosewood Memorial Park.
