Attention teenagers in search of a summer job: The Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater needs workers.
The employer will host a job fair from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 12 at Landstown Middle School. It is looking to fill seasonal and part-time positions for ushers, ticket-takers, parking attendants and production personnel and jobs involving crowd control, guest services, housekeeping, merchandise and more.
Hours will vary depending on the number of shows booked. The company hires 300 to 400 seasonal employees each year.
Dee Larion, senior director of marketing for Live Nation, said the company’s job fairs draw large turnouts. Employees may be as young as 16 but some security and cash-handling positions require minimum ages of 18 or 21.
Applicants should bring two forms of ID if possible — one is acceptable — and try to be there 30 minutes early.
“We usually have a huge turnout,” Larion said. “I would have people get there the earliest they can.”
